Calluses & Skin Hardening

Understand The Problem

Corns and calluses are hard or thick areas of skin that can be painful. Constant pressure on the foot, and particularly the joints, increases blood circulation, which speeds up the cell-growth process, leading to a hard core being generated by hard skin being developed inwards in a conical shape. As a result, the most common type of callus is a lump that is round and yellowish in color.

Calluses and Hardening

The repeated rubbing of the callus with the shoe causes external skin irritation on the one hand, and internal hardness of the region on the other hand, in order to withstand the pressure it gets. Roses, form in the deeper layers of the skin, are exclusively used to harden the skin on the surface. They are most commonly found in the heel area, but they can also be found at the front of the sole.
